jez buzz Slots — Complete Guide to Spinning the Reels, Tips and Game Selection
From classic three-reel slots to Megaways mechanics and network jackpots — jez buzz has a large collection of slots. This page explains in plain language which game suits your budget and preferences, what volatility means, and how RTP works.
Four types of slots — what sets them apart?
Slots are not just three reels. Modern slot games run on many different mechanics — each has its own feel and way of paying out. The four main types are explained below.
Classic Slots
3 reels, fewer pay lines, simple rules. The feel of an old arcade machine — ideal for those starting out for the first time.
EasyVideo Slots
5 or more reels, multiple pay lines, bonus rounds and free spins. Most modern slots fall into this category.
PopularMegaways Slots
Reel height changes on every spin, so the number of ways to win can reach into the thousands. This engine from Big Time Gaming is now used by many studios.
High VolatilityJackpot Slots
Fixed or progressive jackpots — contributions from across the network build into one large prize pool. A single spin can win big.
Big PrizeHow to choose the right slot — volatility, theme and budget
Understanding volatility is the most important step
Low-volatility slots pay out small amounts often — good for keeping your balance going longer. High-volatility games pay less frequently but in larger amounts. Mid-volatility slots balance the two. Pick whichever category suits your budget and patience.
Example: PG Soft's Fortune Tiger is a low-to-mid volatility game, whereas Nolimit City's Fire in the Hole xBomb is much higher volatility.
Check the RTP
RTP stands for Return to Player — the higher it is, the more money returns over the long run. An RTP of 96% or above is generally considered good. Example: Fortune Mouse has a maximum RTP of 96.96%.
A theme you like helps you stay focused
Games come in many themes — mythology, fruit, adventure, mahjong, and more. A theme you connect with keeps sessions from feeling repetitive.
Match the bet limits to your budget
With a smaller budget, choose classic or mid-volatility games with lower bets. With a larger balance, you can consider high-volatility games.
How often do bonus features appear?
How regularly free spins, multipliers or bonus rounds are triggered is indicated by "Hit Frequency", which is noted in the game's pay table.
Pay lines or ways to win?
In fixed pay-line games, you win by matching symbols along specific lines. In ways-to-win or Megaways games, matching symbols on adjacent reels in any position pays out.
Does it run well on mobile?
Before playing slots on the jez buzz app, check whether the game is mobile optimised. Most PG Soft and Pragmatic Play games run smoothly on smartphones.

What does RTP mean?
If a game has an RTP of 96.50%, it means that over the long run, an average of ৳96.50 is returned for every ৳100 wagered. The remaining ৳3.50 is the house edge. In a single session, you may receive more or less than this.
Practical tips for playing slots
-
Set your budget before you start. Decide the maximum amount you are willing to spend at the start of each session and stick to that limit. Slots are a form of entertainment, not a source of income.
-
Start with low volatility. For new players, starting with classic or low-volatility slots is a good idea — keeping your balance going longer makes it easier to understand the game.
-
Read the pay table. Every slot has its own pay table — knowing the value of each symbol, the conditions for triggering bonuses, and the wild rules makes decision-making easier.
-
Take a break after a run of big losses. Raising your bets out of frustration speeds up losses. Step away for a bit and clear your head. You can read jez buzz's responsible gaming guidelines for more on playing responsibly.
-
Understand bonus wagering. To use the jez buzz Slot Festival bonus (up to 50%, ৳8,000), it helps to know the wagering condition (25 times the bonus amount).
-
Bet size matters for progressive jackpots. In some jackpot slots, the Grand Jackpot is only available at maximum bet — check the terms before you play.
Common misconceptions
Megaways and special mechanics — a closer look
Big Time Gaming's Megaways engine changed the slot industry. In games like Bonanza Megaways and Extra Chilli Megaways, each of the 6 reels can show between 2 and 7 symbols per spin, meaning ways to win can reach up to 117,649.
In the Cascade or Avalanche mechanic, winning symbols are removed and new ones drop in — creating the chance to win multiple times from a single spin. Nolimit City's Fire in the Hole xBomb takes this further by adding the xBomb symbol.
Megaways games are generally high volatility. You need a larger balance and patience to play them. If you are also interested in live table games, you can check out the Beterlive Live Casino — it features Evolution and other premium live games.
